Frozen carrots

Are frozen carrots a healthy pacifier to help with puppy barking, chewing and other mischief? Is more than one a day okay for a 7 month old?

Only one carrot a day! We go through 5 pounds of carrots a week (fresh carrots) for our dogs. We not only use small pieces of carrots as treats, but each dog likes to get one as dessert in the evening. And if we forget....oh boy, do they let us know about it.

You could also try dried sweet potatoes or banana chips in addition to the carrots.
our 2 love cooked carrotes, we buy from the publivk market, BUt they do noy not like them cold. we nucke for a few and they are gone,. Trying to rid us of any canned food to miix, Works very good.
Bentley LOVES carrots! And apples. And Holly's dried sweet potatoes.

(I haven't broken the news to him yet Holly, he's going to be SO disappointed . . . .)
I gave Rags a raw baby carrot and she threw up the entire thing.
Looks like she swallowed it whole
Chipper loves his carrots, and I have tried apple chips, banana chips and Sweet Potatoe Strings and he loves them too!
All of mine love fresh carrots and would probably like frozen ones too. We also give them fresh, cooked and even the frozen (yup, right out of the freezer) green beans and fresh, raw broccoli and cauliflower. Mine love their veggies as a treat... we start them out slow on a new one to be sure it agrees with them but the natural vitamins are good for them.

If you're having a challenge with a pup that needs a job to keep him/her busy, you can stuff a Kong (I like the 3 1/2" tall ones best because they can get all the way to the bottom) or other food toy with veggies and part of their daily kibble, yogurt, a bit of peanut butter, etc. Just don't go overboard and cause an upset tummy.
Panda takes after Brian...she HATES veggies....I keep trying to no avail...she like cheese....

Annie too! She hasn't had one in a very long time as she puked and then walked around the entire night breathing heavily. She wouldn't lay down either.
Lucy gets sick on any orange food. Go figure.
