Sofa's latest trick is to bolt running whenever she sees another dog outside their play area. They are used to roan free when I let them out (Of course, they are NEVER left outside by themselves) and they were very well behaved, but lately Sofa's turned into an sprinter. Every time there's a dog walking by outside the park's fence, she bolts to the fence or the door and tries to greet the dog. She's even learned to open the front gate of the park and she's being too quick for me on that. Danita does not let her out any more because she can't chase her and I'd hate to let her out with a collar and leash only, because they love to run, but she's turning into a liability. What could I do to make her more obedient? She's not the brightest bulb in the lamp when it comes to listening to me, but she's a sheepie and has a supercomputer for a brain....Quick Learner if it's good for her!!! Looks like things for her are "My Way or the higway" kind of thing when it's convenient for her.... HEEELP!!! |

Maybe a lock on the gate? |
Unfortunately that's not an option, as it is the gate cars use to get and out of our street. |
