5 years today-The fifth anniversary of our first date!
He made me dinner that night....really fancy too. Then we went out to the bar where we had met the week before. I remember it like yesterday. We just celebrated our second Wedding Anniversary on April 24th. 
It was love at first site, for both of us. Well maybe not love, but definitely an instant attraction. We made it though 6 months of a long distance relationship, Me in NY and Billy is CA. Then I moved across the country and we moved in together two weeks after I moved and been happy ever since! Just wanted to share my happiness!  |

| Our wedding anniversary was yesterday, and I can never remember it.
I DO, however, remember our first date, (March 25, 19somthing)like it was yesterday. We knew on that very first date that we'd be married. I adore my husband. Elissa, it is so nice to hear something positive about another marriage! I feel like a minority sometimes... Congrats, and many happy returns! Shellie |

One of the reasons I remember the date is that I had to go to my cousin's Bat Mitzvah in Los Angeles that day. Then drive back to get to Billy's in time for our date. I had my camera with me and I have pictures of our first date somewhere. Billy took on a lot when we started dating. Stuff most guys would run from. He knew I was sick (Fibromyalgia and everthing that comes with it). I was up front with him about everything. He knew about Ryan's problems. We both gave each other reasons why the other person would not want to be with us. I gave him time to run for the hills, but he didn't and I didn't. He told me what a pain in the ass he can be. I told him what a pain I can be. But love won out over everything. I couldn't have picked a better pain in the ass! |
