new avitar!
Can you help me re-size a picture for my avitar? |

If you upload a full-size pic to the photo gallery ( http://photos.oes.org ) it automagically creates a thumbnail of the proper size for use as an avatar. 
Instructions for everything to do with picture uplads and avatars are in the FAQ section of the forum. If you can't get it to work for ya, let me know! I'll be glad to help. |

LOL, Deb. The other picture in your album is of the sheepie picnic and all the dogs are smiling for the camera except Bentley ~ he's facing the other way.

| I think Pirate looks like the Lord of Manor in this picture! he's so stately. When we rescued Keira (from Save a Pet) they thought she was Border Collie/Aussie/Sheltie. But the vet and groomer insist she's full Border Collie, and the rescue people were thrown by her tri color. She certainly has a BC personality!!! And believe it or not (I don't!) she weights 50 pounds to Pirate's 80! I think she looks so small. I will post more pictures, now that I figured out the digit camera I got for Hannukah...it takes me awhile to catch on! |

But seriously, how will anyone ever learn? She had done 98% of the work in getting the file uploaded and approved... the thumbnail is sitting there waiting for use! (Granted, I like the close up better....) But all was left was to click her own camera icon, right click on the thumbnail to get the address, and put that into her profile page. To get you to do it, she had to email you a picture, you had to maniopulate the picture and email it back, then she had to save that picture out of her email, then go to her profile page and upload it. That seems just as difficult to me! Anyway, I'm glad everyone is happy. |

| Ron, I had tried that, but I'm a dunce! I copied everything, include the beginning IMG and ending IMG, so it didn't like that picture. I just tried it again...and it said its in debug mode. OY!!! Besides, I like angels following me home! |
| You "just" needed to RIGHT click the thumbnail, click on "Properties" to get the URL ADDRESS of the thumbnail, and put that into your profile page.
You get the url address by (I'm just reapeating this) RIGHT clicking on the thumbnail, then selecting "Properties" from the list. Then TRIPLE-Click (left clicks) the URL to highlight it all, and right click it and select "copy". Then go into your profile page, single click in the box next to "Upload Avatar from URL" and right click and select "Paste". Then scroll down and click on submit. |
