So Virgil has started a new behavior. He has always been alpha boy. Now with Dawn in season he has decided that all his brothers need to remember just who is top dog. The other day everyone is lounging around as usual except for Virgil. He is pacing from one brother to the next. I can hear a low grumble as he passes someone. So it goes something like this. Walk passed Martin....(who is doing his seal imitation)...gggrrrr.....Walk passed Farouk (who is on the couch doing his potato imitation)....gggrrrr.....Walk passed Brigham (who is doing his pretzel imitation)....gggrrrr....over to Jeffurry...(who just likes to sleep in the corner)....grrr. The only reaction he got was from Brigham who opened his eye that was on the top as if to say...."you are just not worth the effort". Finally Virgil comes back to me and plops down at my feet with an OOMPH. As if to say "well, that should keep them in their places for a while". Gotta love 'um. |
