| We have both Lucky & Sam microchipped and I know it doesn't help if someone steals them but if they get loose and picked up and go to a shelter - then we get our dogs back.
Just curious if anyone else has their dogs microchipped as well. |
| Rags & Pepsi are both microchipped.
If someone steals your dogs you are basically out of luck.... If you have alerted all the local Vets and per chance they bring the dog into the Vet you might get your dog back. All shelters in the US are now equipped to detect a microchip. Which does help increase the chances of you getting your dog back. |

Just curious if anyone else has their dogs microchipped as well. The only problem is not all places have the right reader for the chip your dog may have. There are a few different brands on the market and they have yet to come up with a universal reader from what I last read. Clyde is chipped too and I think it's a good back up but I wouldn't trust it 100% to get a lost dog back. |
