The joy, yes JOY of shopping!
As of yesterday morning, I have lost (drum roll, please)  19 POUNDS!!!!I have less than a week to lose the other one pound, however, I don't care! I'm very proud. I have absolutely no fashion sense, so yesterday, my daughter and I played "What not to Wear". She took me shopping and helped me select what to try on. Let me say one thing...I'm an accountant...I dress like an accountant, so I needed all the help she could give me (she's 20 and college student). Here'e the final score: I ended up spending about $100 more than my budget, and really didn't get a ton of stuff, but I got really, really good quality pieces . All the things I bought were either 1 or 2 sizes smaller than pre diet!!! I'm not in single digits yet...but not very far. I'm thrilled!!! Is it weight watchers who says "Nothing tastes as good and thin feels?" Amen, sister! We are celebrating Mothers Day today, since we'll be away next week. I had told the kids I would "cheat" for the one day, since they are planning our dinner. Now, I sorta don't want to! I wanted to share my small victory with all of you. Hopefully, it will help someone stay on task. Oh, by the way...did I mention..the adorable little, strapless clubbing dress I got  ? Man, I'm gonna dance, at least, one night away!!!!! |

That's awesome that you stuck with it and were able to attain your goal! I LOVE playing What not to Wear with my mom, too! And she usually spends more than she was planning to, too! If your kids are making an 'evil' dinner, just try eating a sensible amount of it, then it won't be so bad... Congrats again! |
| One meal will not ruin it, just work harder tomorrow......take an extra long walk, drink plenty of water and cut back a bit on food. You've earned one meal. |

| OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...you betcha!!!! I bought a white sandal on a stacked heel, and for the "clubbing" dress, I bought a brown/bronze sandal woven with "gems", heel about 2 inches high. I will be in pain the next day, but what the heck?! Both are Nine West. |
