Seymour started his show career a few weeks ago, and did well his first weekend, and we both had a great time, which is the most important thing, of course! I am looking forward to getting back to Texas where there are a few more sheepdogs at shows than there seem to be in South Florida. I'm looking forward to exploring the posts here on this forum. I have been a list member of OES-L since I acquired my first sheepdog, Bernie, in 1996. Sadly, I lost Bernie to lymphoma this past August. |

Peggy,
Sorry to hear about Bernie. You should check out our Rainbow Ridge Topic. Ron is going to keep it going FUREVER as a memorial to all of our most beloved friends! Come on back to Texas! We need all the sheepies we can get. I love going to the Astro Arena and watching some of the judging and ALL of the Agility trials. Would love to meet a show OES in person. Last time we went the handlers would not let you within 10 feet of their dogs, because they did not wan their coats mesed up or the dogs to get to distracted. I understand. Sigh. Feel free to list Grady and Seymore in our sheepie survey! It is a sticky at the top of this topic Chit Chat. Love your avatar! Is that his show cut ! Have a great Spring day!! |
