I don't have a stripping rake, so I've just been brushing and brushing. I have been diligently line brushing one side a day. It seems like right when I think it's so flowing.. I just have to come in a different direction, and I find more of that fuzzy undercoat hair. I having thinning shears but every time I've pulled them out.. I just stare at them because I don't get how to use it ...or when I use it, can't tell if it's doing anything. |

Comb, with narrow tines.
I never get anywhere with a rake or a brush. |
Get yourself a Mars stripping comb. It isn't a rake like most other rakes that you normally see but will easily remove the undercoat without and yanking, pulling or hours of brushing. I bought the medium blade one for Clyde after the groomer showed me how to use it. It's so fast and easy. It costs a little more than a lot of tools but it's well worth the investment.

I DO!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess I'll get what you have B. Sounds like a good tool. Just "THOUGHT" I could do it by brushing. I know it's working, but it seems to grow in the second I think I've got a good amount of it. Will look for it on another site. my EX-favorite site (one you posted) doesn't ship to us. /fart |
