Eagle Nest Web Cam
This is so cool you can watch an eagle in her nest - LIVE! For oversees visitors in the evenings they rebroadcast the days events. Yup, just had it on myself a few mins ago...appears very windy. It's located on Hornby Island (tiny Island off the West Coast) so no protection from the wind it seems. I take the "boys" on holidays to an Island very much like this a few times a year. I viewed it for the first time yesterday and she's sitting on eggs! Can you imagine when the babes are born? That would be amazing..although I'll cover my eyes when she brings their food I'm thinking. Marianne and the boys |

Across the street, we have a lady who feeds all the bald eagles at noon every day (at the fire dept). There's a crowd that usually shows up to take pictures. It's so cool to see all of them dive down. As noon approaches, they're always circling around our house. I believe alaska has the largest population of BE in the U.S. |

| How sad that the first set of eggs never hatched! But very exciting to see these babies. I have been watching for 20 minutes and no Mama.
I wonder how long they leave the babies for? |
