I'm glad it turned out ok. There's a woman in my neighborhood whose adorable 6 month old puppy was stolen last week. She left him outside at night tied to a pole when she went into a bar to wish happy birthday to a friend. She says she was gone for only 5 minutes. I can't imagine what she felt to come outside and find he wasn't there. Makes me sick to my stomach just thinking about it.
I used to see her walking him. He is such a cute puppy -- a mastiff / sharpei mix. His picture is posted everywhere. I am so worried about what might have happened to him. I hope they stole him because he is adorable and not to be part of some underground dog-fighting operation (which apparently does happen here). |
Now a days, people will steal anything at any time. No respect for others property. Thankfully the bartender and others involved in getting the dogs back to their owners still have integrity. |
What a story! It makes you feel better knowing there are still some people left who care enough to do the right thing. |
