DC15 full kit, total clean or the animal? |
|
I have the animal and love it. |
I have the animal too .Works great. |
Is it the DC15 model? According to the Dyson website there are 3 model numbers that have the animal version. |
I have the yellow one that came out right before the purple one. It doesn't have the feature that can go under couches and stuff but I don't feel I need it since it's got the hose w/attachments that reaches everything. Plus we were told the yellow one (though a model before the purple one) ...has a little more power. If there wasn't a price difference... I'm sure I would have gotten the purple one.
I only know them by colors. And then the one that came out after the purple one that allows you to maneuver it better. |
I think the model number on mine is the DC-14. It has the telescoping handle that allows you to reach everything. |
I have the purple animal vac, without the telescoping handle. I LVOE IT I bought it BRAND NEW on e-bay and got an incredible deal. |
Mines the dc07 animal. |

This is a neat link to check out the features on the various models! Oh Jaci...Proud new owner of a Purple Animal Dyson Where are you? Well ... she's probably still dancing around vacuuming with her new toy! She'll tell y'all all about it soon...I hope Diane |
Just checked, mine is the DC07 |
Mine is the DC-14 Scarlett.
It has a 1 gallon capacity dirt holder. Low reach tool for under the couch. Telescopic reach tool. You can also get the animal tool attachement, but I didn't because the vacuum does a good enough picks up everything. No need for it. I got it on e-bay reburbished for about $230 It was worth every penny! |
I have the Dyson Ball DC15 All Floors (the ball). It is AWESOME. I would buy one again in a heartbeat - I think all the Dyson vacuums are great, but I would get one with a ball for ease of movement. I believe the ball comes on several models now. GOOD LUCK! |
Zellers now carries the Dyson vacuums, I don't remember which model, I only noticed it was yellow. (Zellers is pretty much the only place we have to shop in town) My Hoover Windtunnel is only a year old and has already broken a belt, and honestly it doesn't do that great of a job anyway. Most of my house is hardwood or linoleum, but we put new carpet in my room a few months ago and I really noticed how useless the windtunnel is. LOL
I think I'm going to have to look into a Dyson, I've only heard good things about them in terms of power and how well they work and only a couple break-down stories. Since they are all upright vacuums, how is the hose on them? That is the biggest problem I have with newer vacuums, the cheap hose that seems to break before anything else. |
