PEES IN CRATE

I HAVE OLIVE A 4 MONTH OES AND SHE PEES IN HER CRATE IN HER OWN SPACE. I ONLY LEAVE HER FOR 2 HOURS AT THE MOST. SHE STILL NEEDS TO GOT OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. WHEN SHOULD THIS CHANGE. hOW DO I GET HE TO HOLD IT A LITTLE? I AM SICK OF WASHING HER BLANKETS.

I would take out the blankets until you are sure she can hold it.
The blanket will absorb the urine and not bother the dog.
If the dog has to sit there in a puddle of her own urine it will not be a pleasant experience. I did this with my Boxer..(No more accidents)...and could never put a blanket back in with him. As soon as I tried to put blankets back in her started to urinate again. Also is the crate big for her?
As for going in the middle of the night. I would cut off water at about 7:30pm -8pm. That should help.
At four months they should be able to hold it for 2 hours. Try the above suggestion first. Remember with a crate, it should be just big enough to turn around in. You may need to block off a section until the pup grows into it.

Still, 4 months is quite young. Could be your little one is a slow developer. If this continues, consider getting a urine test to check for infection.
I agree with Pepsi's Mommy. Not only will the blanket absorb the urine, it will retain the odor. You may not be able to smell anything but Olive can. I would wash the bottom of the crate with a pet enzyme (we find it here at major pet stores or online). If she can smell it on the crate tray she may still try to go there. That way she is getting a fresh start.

Tell that to Clyde. At 4 months, he loved lying in his own urine. I would've loved to wash a blanket-- it was him that was terrible to wash. At 4 months we were probably doing at least 3 baths a week.

Make sure that you have the crate as small as possible for your puppy-- that will make a big difference. She should just be able to stand up, turn around and lie down. As you can trust her more, open up the crate a bit and give her some more space. Taking water up earlier in the evening is also a great suggestion. For us, it was just being consistent and letting him grow up. Now, at 1 1/2, he holds it longer than both of my other dogs. I would've never thought my pee monster would've been my most reliable one!
