It lets you estimate your daily needs, compare foods, food additives, look for a food with a certain nutrient, learn more about the food, and many other things. Figured someone could find it useful. Hope this hasn't been posted. It also has fast food facts about popular chains on the right hand side. http://www.nutritiondata.com/ |

That's a cool site! I just calculated my nutritional needs for the day--it is higher than I thought. I usually only eat about 1200 calories a day, but it says I need 2300! I'm off to Dairy Queen... ha ha, just kidding... |
What I like about the Daily Needs Calculator (found under TOOLS) is it tells you how many carbs, protein, vitamins, fiber, calcium, etc... your calories should be broken down to.
Helps me because it shows how much I need to eat if I'm lacatating. |
Not to be too personal, but how was your pregnancy weight-wise? We saw from your wedding pictures that you were slim to begin with...just curious as to how the weight is (or isn't) coming off. Everyone at my work is either in the process of having babies or just had babies and everyone wants me to have one, so I've got baby on the brain... |
Pre-pregnancy: 130-133 (depending on time of day, etc, etc)
Before I gave birth: 176-178lbs It's been 3 months, and I'm 145lbs Just a little more to go. I'd be happy with 140lbs. Hopefully with the weather getting warmer, we can start hiking again! Right now, it's been the treadmill every day! |
I hope to hear you're pregnant soon!!! |
