Update Posted: 23 Mar 2004 05:36 pm -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NEVERMIND, luckily I figured it out. The heartgard that the dogs are already on will take care of them, I have to find something for my cats to take. The reason I was asking is Marie my 6 months old kitten doesn't look like she is putting on weight like she should so my friend suggested that she might be wormy. I guess we will get her to the vet and try and get to the bottom of it. Stormi |

Hi, Here's a tip for you.
I take fecal samples to the vet often (sigh I know I have no life) LOL It cost 12 dollars for them to check and they tell you right away if the kitty or pup has worms, and if so what kind they are. A vet visit is usually 25 dollars and they would tell you to bring in a fecal sample the next time anyway. So that's a suggestion. The only thing with generic stuff bought at Walmart is it's in tablet form, the stuff supplied by vets is in liquid form and the pet can be dosed according to weight. Good luck! |
