I think it's better to spread it out, that way you have time to find out what you win or don't win. If you bid on something, don't win it you can "regroup" go back and try again  OR you can just keep bidding and winning If you were REALLY SMART you'd spread the auction over several PAY PERIODS |

I thought it was cute too. Then I saw it can also be used as an urn (looks more like this to me too).
