Try the Simple Green Cleaner. It is the only one that doesn't set off my allergies and the 4-foots don't mind it at all.
We had problems with some of the previous ones we tried. Oh, and it's not expensive. A plus in my book. |
I recall reading (on this forum) that undiluted Pine-Sol could be a problem. I imagine any strong cleaner like Top Job or Mr. Clean could be problematic as well.
Was the floor dry already? Was the cleaner scented? Which did you use? |

What elissa said is probably what happened to blue. Maybe the cleaner with the citrus smell was too much for his senses and maybe caused a burny sensation in the nasal passages. You have to remember that a dogs sense of smell is so much stronger then ours. So smells from certain products can be overwhelming to them. |
Annie puked a few times after the cleaning ladies would leave for the day. I attributed it to the floor cleaners (either smelling or licking). So...we now only use whtie vinegar and warm water. |

I agree. |
When I first read this thread, the first thing I thought was "I don't know if any odors scare him but I know some odors that come out of him scare me!" |
