Web cams
Does anyone use a webcam? She was thinking about getting one so they can see lots of the baby since they are so far away. I know they have really come down in price. Are the inexpensive ones worth buying or is it better to invest in something more expensive? |

I use one when I'm IMing with one of my best friends. He lives in NH and we don't see each other very often. It works great. The one I have was only about $40 and came with an ear piece that allows you a video conference. You can talk and see them on full screen. Almost as good as being there.  |

i've got a webcam laying around here somewhere. I used to use it all the time, but it got old. It was a cheapy one, probably $50. It was great if you wanted to see the people you were typing to.  |
| Just get a cheap one and sign on with MSN messenger. It is not very difficullt as long as your internet speed is good.
We talk to the inlaws in London weekly with no huge phone bills  Plus they get to see the boys more often and we get to see the cousins, aunts and uncles that haven't been to visit for a while. It is great! |
