wow our area of the city of Alberta is quite amazing
In ranking order...the south is the best area, and where we live. I know this because for a house in this neighbourhood you will pay min $270,000 right now. We have ravine property's, close to the international airport (20 min drive), the best shopping, restaurants...and so on. Close to the city's ski hill, and the other one too. Our realtor says we can likely sell our little house of 1000sq ft, bi-level for $260,000....we paid $186,500 3 years ago, it was built for $150,000???something. tempting isn't...but then where do we go?? As well they released the provincial school test results for the province of Alberta. My kids school is ranked #10 in the province, and #2 for the city. We won't be moving to an acreage now, we are not about to give up all the great things which drew us here in the first place. Now on to redecorating our house to have it my way....sigh eventually anyways. It is nice to sit back and realize what you have is perfect just the way it is. I have found a new love for our house. |
