Technically you can eat those things, just as long as you cut back on other things. It's all a game of calories. So, if you want an eclair and it has 400 calories, make sure to eat less at dinner and lunch, or something like that... That's where people get in trouble...they'll eat the eclair in addition to the regular amount of stuff and that's where it adds up. |

Years ago I had a friend who despertly wanted to gain 30+ lbs, but couldn't. She couldn't gain and I couldn't loose, together we looked like Jack Sprat and wife. Going out to lunch with her was no fun, she'd devour everything and I'd pick at a salad w/ no dressing. |

I think I'm doing good! I didn't have a scale until Sunday. So, I really don't know where I started (probably a good thing) But from Sunday to this morning I've dropped 4 pounds!! This diet is easy to follow for me, with the exception of breakfast. I'm getting tired of eggs, egg substitute and canadian bacon. I think I"m going to try to follow the phase 1 for 2 additional weeks and then switch to phase 2. Thanks for asking! Oh..yea...Pirate and Keira say they love their Auntie Paula and cousin Bob |
4 pounds is great! You could have cottage cheese for b-fast, too. I love eggs and could eat them every day. Can you eat oatmeal on Phase 1? |
I, too, love eggs. But just cooked in "Pam" loses a bit of their glamour! I never thought of cottage cheese, but that's a great alternative. Thanks! Nope...no oatmeal on phase 1. I read that people go off this diet mostly because they want to stay on phase 1 and then get really bored. I can understand that. But I think 2 more weeks will be ok for me, otherwise I'll switch to phase 2. My plan is to be very disciplained until Key west....eat without care in Key West, and when I get home, go back to weight watchers. So....we HAVE to find out the point value of onions rings!!! |
