For her, since she is still so little...I would use dove facial cloths, just get wet.....Im not sure its the perfect solution, but it does work for Panda after dinner.... |
Try changing her water as often as possible. That's an easy way to cut down on a lot of the beard staining. |

I agree with that! |
changing water is a good suggestion but there are also some other options if you want to take a search around the forum. The discoloring/tea stain on a chin is from saliva enzymes, not from a particular food brand. |
How bout in the ears? I think that sounds so unusual, but the vet says she is fine. |
I always only put a little water at a time in her huge bowl. So her face isn't dunking into a pool of water. That's helped tremendously. Of course, I'm always home though... and have time to always notice when she wants/needs more water. Then I wipe her mouth with paper towels. very single time. Even after she eats, which I handfeed every kibble ...two at a time... (mostly because she has to perform an assortment of tricks for each bite) she's not spoiled though.
Using a stainless steel bowl also helps with staining. The product "eye envy" works great at making stains go white too. |
My parent's sheepdog has staining in the ears...it doesn't bother them, though! lol |
