I collect the merrymac OES statues and just used e-bay to buy 2 for the first time ever!! Well I brought one statue here last year in Australia and found 2 more on e-bay that are coming from the states. The 2 that are coming from the states that I brought are half the price that I paid for the one I brought in OZ and that is including postage!! WOW Boy I am behind the times & so happy with my buys, even looked at grooming scissors on e-bay and compared to what we pay here, well next set is going to be bidded on, on e-bay. Woo Hoo mmmm I think maybe e-bay might become addictive too when seeing all the lovely things you can buy from all over the world From a person that is born to shop LOL |

I live for eBay. I probably buy at least one thing a week. Once in awhile I even buy something I actually need... I do find it addictive but you can get some things so much cheaper sometimes. I can't pass up a good deal! |
Oh dear the addiction has started Just ordered fleecy lined waterproof booties for the girls for winter |
Can you believe I've never bought anything on ebay? I almost bought something when I saw the sheepdog ornament by Michelina, but I didn't know how and didn't want to ask hubby. He's bought tons on ebay. The problem is, if I ask him, I will get a much longer and more detailed explanation than I have patience for. Even though he'd love to help me.
Now you've got me curious. |
I’m a shopoholic so I don’t dare to visit ebay, I’m afraid I would be able to leave the site

I LOVE E-BAY
I hate going to stores to shop but I love internet shoppping. So far I've not had a single problem with anything purchased on e-bay. |
I too am an e-bay-aholic!
I've only had one purchase that I had problems with and that has been the most recent. I ordered name tags for all the dogs and cats and I never got them. But luckily I paid through Pay Pal and they are in the process of getting my money refunded. It's all good. It's been great for shopping for things for the new grand baby coming in July! |
eBay rocks!!! We have bought and sold a ton of stuff and have only had 2 problems, ever!
I think I've gotten a little of everything off of eBay, clothes, jewelry, furniture, tons and tons of sound gear. The person who invented eBay should win the Nobel Prize for shopping. |
If you guys will wait just a little.. We will have the full line of Merrymacs ..The too's and the big ones also on the fundraiser we're having. Also have the rubber boots and other doggie stuff. So instead of it going in some retailers pocket it will go directly to helping the Rescue Babies.. Working on listing the item right now.. Kaye Second Chance OES Rescue |
HURRY KAYE!!!!!!!!!
We are all waiting with baited breath and Pay pal accouts at the ready |
Let's go Kaye, LET'S GO!!!!! It's not like you have anything else to do with bottle feeding babies, husband recouperating, rescue kids everywhere. Just satisfy our materialistic needs now!!
I do need some more dog boots though, hint, hint, hint. |
I love ebay too. We actually bought a 1967 VW Microbus from CA. Flew out there and everything before we gave the guy the whole amount. We've also bought furniture & printing equipment.
Mandy: I have a Shag print up there that I'm selling right now that ends tonight. *Hint* *Hint* |
Which one is it?!?!? |
Which one is it?!?!? I'm trying to find the Rain Lamp one and one of the Zodiac prints. |
The bigger it becomes (ebay), the more I notice the bad users when buying and selling. I LOVE ebay ...just notice more and more people selling stuff NEW that are definitely used. I bought an automatic cat feeder that had NWT and everything ...from a powerseller with a 100% rating... and when I got it, it had cat scratches ALL over it. Hmm.. new you say? What's worse is... I've become very paranoid about giving negative feedback. I have to sit there and hope *cross my fingers* they leave positive feedback first (that I paid instantly...and well deserve) ....before I can slam them with a negative feedback. Or else... they will leave you a negative feedback just because you left them one. I have 100% rating..and a tonsssssssssssssssss of purchases, but all of my friends have experienced this. .......which is why I never leave feedback until I have mine (if I planned on putting a negative comment....even a negative comment while still giving them a positive point). |

I know exactly what you mean!!!!!!!!! I always wonder if you leave a negative feedback if it will affect your feedback adversely. It also annoys me that I will often got to the trouble to leave feedback and lots of sellers don't bother, especially when I first started and wanted to get my rating up. |
we don't have a problem with eBay, we can leave it any time.
eBay has been a great boost for Danita' art. Thanks to that she's been encouraged to paint a lot and there's new paintings almost every week... Sometimes is discouraging because there are dry spells and sometimes things go like pancakes. eBay is weird. I always go look at stuff at the stores and then go look on eBay to see if someone has one used for sale. I save tons of money that way, but it's right, you have to be very careful with the descriptions or you can get end up with a lemon. We leave feedback as buyers when we receive the items, as sellers we ask the buyers to review the merchandise and leave positive feedback or ask questions before we leave ours, because a lot of people is lazy and don't leave feedback. So far, it's worked out just fine. 100% Rating! |
Oooh looking forward to the Auction Kaye, Woo Hoo |
