Ummm Where'd That Margerine Go?
I'm cursing under my breath as I returned home to find an empty tub of margerine on the living room floor yesterday. I had made the same mistake 2 and 1/2 years ago - left one on the counter. I realized Merlin goes a bit nuts over margerine and the sugar bowl if they are ever left in his close proximatey. Well...after rushing in the morning making sandwiches for lunch I neglected to put it back in the fridge. We both paid for it big time... Good boy that he was however..he waited until his mom arrived home from work and raced quickly out the door...it was when he came back in....ewww stinky! The same moment I saw the empty container and knew immediately what caused the hasty retreat to the back yard. Marianne and naughty Merlin aka poop butt  |

| I think it is amazing!! He didn't have an accident in the house! Okay don't want to jinx anything now...as perhaps something may still happen..but it's been over 24 hrs.
My first thought was....aha! He probably just ate it before I arrived home and not in the am just after I left, or things would have been different. Whew!! would have been a nasty surprise for me! I found the lid under the couch this morning..complete with teeth marks. Smart boy he was..he managed to take the lid off. Margarine....not margerine...umm spelt it wrong.
