Sounds very interesting but I can't read norwegian
By "supine" do you mean lazy?????? |
Quote: By "supine" do you mean lazy??????
You can translate it to: lazy, inert, supine or torpid. I'm not quite sure what is the best word for it. |
HAHAHAHAHAAH!!
Is that because we sit at our computers all day waiting for notices that new threads have been posted |
Or is it because we check in every 15 minutes?
|
Or do both? |
I even get up in the middle of the nigh and look whos on and any new post!
I have a problem sleeping |
Tasker's Mom wrote: Is that because we sit at our computers all day waiting for notices that new threads have been posted Oh, that would explain why I never get anything done |
The only question is- Do we need help for our addiction? (Do we want help?:D) |
The first step is admitting you have a PROBLEM.................................................................................
..................................................................................................................no PROBLEM here |
Keeps me occupied since my job doesn't activate my brain. No help needed thank you very much! |

I don't have a problem, either. This is not the first website I check when I get home from work. Nope. I see no problem. |
Problem??? WHAT PROBLEM...I'll be right back, another reply to read |
I get plenty of exercise. Running back and forth to the computer to see who has posted. And I get plenty done. Check the chit chat, check the grooming, check the pictures......

I really wish I could read that article....lol....
I honestly think the forum has helped me keep my sanity, but it has helped my house fall apart too. LOL I now get virtually NO exercise either.... I've been trying to get my life back on schedule, re build routines so that things like housework, grooming the dogs, spending time with the kids, and maybe someday getting a little more exercise comes before the computer. LOL I find I actually "need" the forum though to balance things out, otherwise life is all work and no play. LOL |

LOL Maybe Tove could translate for us I have noticed one thing, not sure if it's good or bad, but there are often things that come up and my first thought will be OH I HAVE TO SHARE THAT WITH THE FORUM, not I'll call a friend and tell them. Many of you have MUCH busier lives than I do, with young children still at home, but sometimes I feel like life is so hectic that I just don't have the time or energy to connect with people socially in the "real world". Not that I don't maintain my friendships but on the forum you can hop on and share something and then come back again when you have a moment. Calling someone requires a block of time out of a busy schedule and you can't just end it when the phone rings or someone walks into your office. I know alot of my time on the forum is when I'm actually doing something else, sitting at work on hold waiting for a Dr's office or insurance company, or waiting for a patient to be ready for me to check their blood pressure. I could never "call a friend" then. So I really appreciate the friendships here!! Oh look, there I go getting all sappy |

Ginny, don't feel bad. That's exactly what I was thinking while on vacation. "Just wait til the guys on the forum hear about this!" I wasn't sure if thinking that way was good or not. Apparently it's okay. |
Can't wait to see pictures of your vacation, Mandy! |
