Missed heat?!
I'm really sad, I've been looking forward to this for years! Still, I'm glad I have the foster girls with me to keep me occupied. The only bad part is that they are getting attached to us, and us to them, and I want them to find their forever home soon so they can get settled!!! For those more knowledgable, how common is a missed heat? |

| It's not always exact.... Dancer had her first 2 heats 8 months apart, and this time it was only seven months since the last one. Sky is 9 months apart, Abby was only 5 months. They vary, and although they usually stick to some sort of pattern, it's not always right to the day, or even the month. |
| Exactly what stacey has posted, most people think every 6 months but some bitches can be only once a year too. Does not mean they have missed a heat, just takes time with a bit of maturity for there heats to become regular. Kelsey ran every 6 months and Brie started at every 6 months now looks like her cycle is going to be around the 8-9 month mark. |
