Abbey is a 12-year-old very young acting sheepie. Her sad story is that her dad's health is failing and he can no longer take care of his two dogs, Abbey here, and her side kick Honey (see 3rd photo). Honey, "the wanna-be," seems to be blind and Abbey is the seeing-eye dog. It is thought that Honey will not survive without Abbey. Abby's feet occasionally go out from under her when they are playing in the yard & she has a hard time getting up on a slippery floor, but she is very young at heart and she is able to run in the back yard and play tag with the owner's grandchildren. Abbey does still have a lot of playfulness in her. She's "good" with kids in the sense that she's never hurt any of them. Of course, she should not have to deal with very young kids at her age. She likes to carry her dish in her teeth & SHE chooses where she eats. She loves to go car-car. They can be seen in West Newton, PA ...about 45 minutes east of Pittsburgh, PA.
