Does anyone else feel like they just don't have time to do everything lately? 
Work has been so crazy, we have 3 restaurants in construction...at the same time!  I feel like all I do is put out fires at work...and all my regular work just keeps piling up!  I went into work yesterday to try and get a bank rec for one of the restaurants done...DECEMBER's! Only to look up and out the window, 3 hours later, and noticed I couldn't see across the street, the snow and wind was so bad!  So I had to cut it short, I couldn't get stranded in town without my Muppets! So I'm still behind the 8 ball come Monday AM!
We have put our house on the market! We need to live closer to Ottawa as Grant is always there working (he's been coming home after midnight every day...I miss him ) I have people coming to look at the house today...and it's not as clean as I'd like it to be...(I'm taking a break with you guys, before I giver!) I have been feeling so isolated and really missing my friends! They are all in Ottawa, and between work and selling the house I haven't had time to go in to visit!  I'm going to Winnipeg next weekend for my grandma's 90th birthday! I'm so grateful I will be able to be there, but am stressing out that I will be gone from work Friday and the Monday, gone from my Muppets (as daddy cannot be relied on to get home for them, thankfully I do have a great friend out here that will come by and give Gooch his medicine on time and feed them and give them love!) and gone from the house...it would be my luck that the person who wants to but it will want to see it on the Saturday!
Whew...and I haven't had time to come to the forum for my fix! That's probably why I'm going crazy!
We have, on a good note, found a house 10 minutes from the city that we are interested in!  Finding time to go see it though....that's a different thing. I had wanted to drive in today, with The Muppets but it looks like we are getting nasty weather again today! I'm trying hard to not get my hopes up about the house, since we haven't sold ours yet but it's really great!  It's on 3acres so my boys will still have their area to romp in (been feeling guilty about taking The Muppets away from their forest! ) But, it is meant to be...if it's meant to be...right?
The Gooch is doing awesome! No more episodes! So that is GREAT! He has started on the Potasium Bromide, which is in liquid form! He is not doing well with that...and spits it out! If you can't wrap cheese around it, he doesn't want it! So I special ordered capsules for him! I figured it's for the rest of his life...and I don't have the energy to chase him with a syringe full of medicine twice daily for that time!
Anyway, just wanted to let you all know what's going on and tell you I miss you! Did I also mention that one of the very important questions when we are searching for a new home is...can I have high-speed internet?
Wish us luck for today...maybe these people will buy the house...one thing off my plate! Oh...wait...that would then add packing our house up on to the plate! |

| sounds very very hectic to me but i'm glad you got time to say hi
don't feel guilty about taking them from their forest, you will be able to be at home with them more with less travelling and 3 arce sounds great put up a big fence and the gooch can run free with murphy with no fear of him getting hurt and anyway you can allways plant some trees  and build a big doggy house for them to lounge in outside in good weather or bad knowing sheepies love of snow lol
i do hope the house selling goes well and that your boys are on their very best for the veiwers try not to let it all over welm you i'm just learning to do that so i know its not easy. i do hope the weather gets better and i'm very glad to hear gooch is doing so much better we miss you to but when life settles down abit you will just have more time to talk to us and we will always be here for you to talk to when ever you want!!! so take deep calming breaths, hug your muppets and talk to us when you can love zoe and einy |

| Busy busy busy! Don't forget to take some time for YOU so you don't burn out.
The weather certainly has been extreme compared to our mild start to winter, it's made up for no snow til December all in one week I think. Good luck with the house! www.flylady.com has some excellent tips to make moving less hectic. |

| Collie....Poor thing...thats a lot, but living closer to Grants work will make it easier on both of you...you just have to get there...Glad that Gucci is feeling much better....and Panda understands the cheese thing completely...what if you mixed the liquid with peanut butter and put it back on the spoon...and let him lick it off?? Cant wait to see pics of the potential new house! |

| Phew! I'm tired just reading your post! Good luck with selling the house and finding a new one........maybe the one you've seen will work! Then the move. If you can, hire it done including the packing and unpacking. I can only dream of that!!

| Oh Colleen!! The first thing I thought of when I read you were putting your house on the market is all the trouble you went through to get the fence put in and now you're leaving it?? Oh my!!
I do understand your reasoning, though, makes perfect sense!

So glad you were able to take a minute and let us know you were still alive (even if it's barely!) Been thinking of the Gooch lately and really need to chat with you sometime. We never did get that play date. Do you think we could be busy people?...nah...that can't be it...lol. My doggers tell me their schedules are wide open. lol Don't forget to take good care of yourself during this busy, stressful time. The last thing you need is to get sick!
