A couple of years ago, my kids baked and iced a chocolate cake in a 9 x 13 glass dish. They put it along the back of the cooktop to cool.
When they came back in to check on it, they discovered that a 3" wide strip of icing along the side closest to the front was gone. Ben had chocolate breath. (He weighs a 100 lbs, but we watched him to be sure). I'm just glad he didn't pull the glass baking dish down. |
I have the same problem with Daisy, she is stealing everything she come ower! she jumps on the table, she even go in the garbage,
and the latest thing who is very funny is to thray to pinch birdsees in the nesting-box And we can never take here at the right time!!! |
Looks like she's taking the whole under weight thing into her own hands. |

Smart boy, he goes for the good stuff |
Pizza and apple pie, yum! Can I come eat with einy?
Years ago my sister in law baked lasagna in a glass Pyrex dish. They left the house while it cooled. Upon returning they found very clean broken glass on the floor but no lasagna.........and a very round miniature daushund. They rushed him to the vet who administered a laxative. If the dog had licked up any broken glass, it was so mixed with the lasagna it came through without problems. They figure the dog ate his weight in lasagna that night. |
Susan....How does a daushund countersurf? |
Who knows!! Maybe chair to table to counter. Then again, those guys can really jump......or at least that &^%$# could. Mean, nasty dog, never did like him.

Hilarious!! Eins is taking this "gain weight" mantra to heart!! |
hehe, too funny! Mara was caught raising our bedroom window. We kept fussing at the boys for doing it. It never even crossed my mind that it might be one of the cats! |
LOL oh boy that was funny!!!
I too gave my son heck for what I thought was his doing when it turned out to be Merlin. I loved your story!! Marianne and the boys |
HAHA. Your sheepie is so funny.
Paul's lab ate a few dozen chocolate Chip cookies and a pound of raw hamburger once. She didn't move for a few day except to go outside. Piggy. Tey will eat anything. |
Maggie is a very delicate counter surfer. She will not eat the last of anything (usually!) and there won't be any drips, or broken dishes...you just come into the kitchen and say, I thought there were 2 chicken breasts there...We'd be eating dinner in the next room and if Maggie wasn't right there with us, someone would run into the kitchen and more often than not, she'd be right there, paws on counter, seeing what she could find... |
ahhh what a crafty boy - gotta hand it to him though |
