| Just had another little white headed boy.... Gilly have a patch over one eye and Daddy Miller also has a patch.....Go figure!!!!!!!!! That is 6 whiteheads out of 8 Babies........ Anyway they are healthy, fat and have shiney coats.....I've taken pictures of 6 of them so far........ There fills like two more Baby to go at least........When she is thru I'll finish up the pictures then maybe someone can help me get them posted.... Hurrah!!!!!!!! Do you give her anything to help keep her energy up? I've had several breeders tell me to give them a banana while they're taking a break during whelping, or right after. I've never tried it though. |

At work today the last time I checked 3 had been born....Then I have been out all nite, and just got in...Wow, has she been busy! These pups need some kind of a theme for naming them....Trixie Beldon was the name of a girl in a series of books, like Nancy Drew. We could go with something like that. Like one of the boys could be Sawyer, for Tom Sawyer... How so very exciting! Reminds of when I first joined this group and Stacey's rescue girl Abby was having her pups....! |

Momma only has 8 little dinner faucets so rotating the Babies to make sure they geet her colostrum.......Then I will start bottle feeding to help her............ I justa changed their bedding adn held them and Loved on them....After everything that this littel girl has been thru and to come from who knows what ....It just blows me away that the Babies are Just Beauutiful and Healthy....... I started feeding her raw when I got her........But, didn't know if anything I did could make up for what she hadn't had....What A Miracle.........I would have been thrilled to death to have had 12 Healthy puppies of any mix......... But, This is Just To Much..... We do need to change the subject to probally another topic.... Because these are rescue Babies .... I don't know anything about thier genentics at all...... I do have the Momma and the Daddy but know nothing about them..... They are both Very Sweet and Loving.......... Have they named the 10th planet yet? Cause you have 9 planet names, plus the sun, and moon...and the name of the new 10th one past pluto. Sunny Lunar/Luna Merc Venus Mars Earth Saturn Neptune Jupiter Urany Pluto tenth planet is not named but we seem to have that spot filled (trixie)... After all this is an out of world miracle, 12 healthy babies. |

What about "Saved by SecondChance"? That way they could all be registered, and SecondChance could get listed with OESCA as a top producer! hahahah! So if one callname was Trixie, she'd be "Trixed Saved by SecondChance" or "Trixie SSC" for short. Just a light look at the problem. |

I'm sorry I just got basck to your post tonight Kaye, having been out to see my newest little addition, only to find out about the finish to our very own blessed event... 12 precious brand new OES lives  ! Congratulations to Gilly for a healthy and safely completed delivery, I sincerely hope that each precious baby continues to grow strong! I love the saint name idea, and can't wait to see pictures of all of them. I hope you manage to keep up with all those little guys, and all that rotational feeding

| Hi Pam, I tried to put indivual pictures of the Babies up and was unsuccessful last night.. I am not computer savy to say the least.I am going to blame that on being Old, Menepausal and what ever works. I will take one of them togther today and try and send that.... Two have already been adopted...One of the little white headed boys and the little girl with the spot on her head, to people that have already adopted one of our Babies... | Kaye, you are going to have your hands soooooo full in 3/4 weeks time! You better have someone to take over your rescue work while you tend to those babies and help them learn all they can before they move on to their forever homes. They will need you to show them the ropes!!!!!

| Nicole, I have been bvery fortunate that I have help here in town. Terri Lynn has had 5 of the Older Babies waithe her....We Lost Major tonight.....But, I do have 4 foster homes to help releave me....I know when the Babies get out of the whelping crate and start interacting with the Big Babies is when all but My Pack will haev to be fostered......My Pack Shug, Barney, Rosie and Dolly will help raise the Babies with Gilly......So there is 9 to 10 weeks of hard work ahead of us......But what a Joy and and a Blessing to haev Babies in the house again........Start bottle feeding in the morning.......The Fun begins........I'll take some pictures of the Babies being bottle fed........ | Get some sleep! Years ago I helped raise a litter of doberman pups because the mom would not nurse them...she kept attacking her pups...Very strange....The wee ones were bottle-fed and we also held the bitch down to let them nurse supervised, for the first couple of weeks. Those pups were very friendly to people as they got older...
Good thing you have help. Most important to get those pups off to a good start so they don't have problems that some rescue dogs do. Bet I certainly don't need to tell you that! |
| Those babies are adorable, wish I could help too. But at 6 weeks...wow the amount of poo you'll be cleaning...you'll need a cleaning crew to clean up after 12. Good luck. |
