He went to the hospital again yesterday and was diagnosised with bronchitis, pneumonia, and pluerisy in addition to the severe giant bullous emphysema he already has. He was better today, but one day an infection will most likely take his life. Since the onset of his illness a year ago, it's been harder on him physically to recouperate after each episode. He's never had 4 lung problems at one time like this, so I would ask that you pray for God to help him regain his strength and give us at least one more spring and summer with him, IF it be HIS will. We live from one infection to the next, not knowing if this is the one they won't be able to kick. He usually gets one about every 3 weeks to a month and a half. Not asking for sympathy, just faith filled, sincere prayers from believer's in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Thanks. Pam |

A friend gave this bible verse to me when I was sick on a refrigerater magnet. It's been on my refrigerator for 10 years and I find it very comforting so I'll share it with you.
Have no anxiety about anything but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.And the peace of God,which passes all understanding, will keep your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.Philippians 4:6-7 Prayers and warm hugs to both of you and your family. |
Thank you for your prayers and well wishes. It means a lot to me (us). You guys have been so supportive this past year. You've helped in finding homes for my dogs, listened as I mourned their loss, allowed me to stay on with you "dogless", and with my husband's illness.
He's a little better, but not out of the woods. Will probably be in the hospital for at least a few more days. God bless each of you! Thanks again!!! Pam (Indiana, USA) |
Pam your husband will be in my prayers and offering of my work throughout this day. |

Hubby's Home!!! Thank you for your thoughts and prayers!!! He's still very tired and weak, not completely over everything, but well enough that the doc feels he can treat him at home again. That in itself is a miracle. We really weren't sure this time, but once again, God has proven Himself to be everything His word says He is, our Savior, Comforter and Healer. If its not asking too much, you might continue to remember him in your prayers from time to time. Just that God's will be done. He knows our hearts and our "will", so I try not to ask for anything that might not go hand in hand with His perfect will. Thanks soooo much for being here. I always know I can come here for a dose of encouragement, even in the middle of the night when everyone else is in bed. Thank you soooo much!!!! Pam |
