Ok at the risk of starting trouble. But who am I to tell you no when you need help. It FEELS very cold here. Of course it's relative to what you're used to. Being a former CA girl and used to moderate temperatures. I guess I'm a big wus.

But Yeah it's cold. Yeah... BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR I can't type anymore....dja'sla;ureia oerjho;aihfioeahfioaheoiih FREEZING Gotta go grab my coat and snuggle with a Sheepdog.

You two are both huge wussies, but Darcy in particular since she used to live in Michigan and should remember what real cold feels like! ;) Darcy, you've simply gone soft. It was about 30 degrees today and it was like a heat wave. I had to put a tank top on when I came home!
^^^

I would NEVER call 30 a heatwave. For pete's sake... it's below freezing!!! I know I am mostly from TX, but if it's 30 degrees ...not only must there be snow (or I'm pissed), but they better shut down school because I ain't going out

Then I moved to Alaska. When it's 30 here, we open our windows to the house because it's such a big difference from 8 degrees or below. Shoot.. I can tell a difference between 20 and 30 now. It's NOT considered "all cold once it's below freezing" ........it's BUTT cold when your nose hairs can't make it to the car w/o getting frozen.-
bTW, we just had a 2 wk long heat wave. I think it reached 47 one day. UNBELIEVEABLE

I was so happy to see temps drop to 20 today.

The hot weather caused iditatrod events (celebration before the big race mach 4th) to be cancelled. That stinks. We were going to go see some of the dogs this weekend.
 this is the woosey happy dance....Im cold in ARIZONA   Jill, I bet you 10 buck..you come out here and you will be cold...my dad came out in April and poo pooed me...we went out (he without a coat) and all he did was complain how cold it was....ITS DRY HEAT...AND DRY COLD ...WHICH MAKES IT COLDER 8O
Lol. Your dad was only cold because he was bummed that it wasn't 100. It's a let down when you only get 70. Boo hoo! :P

Tell you what, I'll let you win the bet if you'd like to fly me out there to sample the temps...
Only if you stay at home on the weekend of May 20th
Oooh, that was rough. Ouch.

I'd respond more but I have to go pour some more Faygo down the drain...
OK Vegas.....I'm with ButtersStotch on this one....you and Darcy and all the rest doing that "woosie dance",flying your freak flags, and claiming that it's COLD IN THE DESERT??......hello,what are you all smoking????!!!!!...LOL!!
Well of course they are cold. They don't know how to dress! Pastel shorts and short sleeves 24/7.
I'm sure the rest of you can help out with this:

You know it's cold when:

The water in the dog water dish is completely frozen (those in Minnesota can add "indoors." )

The poop is frozen into the ground and won't return until spring.

The dog really does want to wear a sweater on those early morning walks.

You don't mind the dog(s) climbing into bed with you unless they just came from outside.

You worry about a dog getting his nose stuck on the outside of the storm door.
Ha ha! No poopsicles in Arizona!
8) You are welcome to stay some days in Scandinavien, or I'm sure
you also are welcome to visit Alaska. Then you will know what's like
to be cold :!:
it like my MIL in florida shes like oh it was cold today it only got to 65 and i'm like cold its been trying to snow all week in the uk 65 is not cold !!!

ROLLING ON THE FLOOR LAUGHING MY EVER LOOVIN BUTT OFF, DROWNING IN TEARS CAUSE I CAN'T STOP LAUGHING (tears that are FREEZING to my face and making icecicles that hang off my face because IT REALLY IS COLD HERE) SO HARD

Cold is when you have to throw your entire weight against the door every morning before you let the dogs out because it's frozen shut or been snowed in over night.

Since pastel pink and green are Grosse Pointe colors that must have been for Darcy
LOL.....now we're talking COLD!!.....just keep it coming...Darcy and Vegas are just bit "climate challenged"and need a little help to understand what it feels like to really be cold!!!LOL......love you guys, you all are too funny!
It is cold here! In the high 60's today!! 8)

I think I am making the right decision in moving to Arizona, Darcy!
LMAO :D

We're having the same heatwave of a whopping 38 degrees! I actually went out yesterday and unzipped my DOWN jacket. Why the heck does my family all live here???? I hate it!
I will go on a limb and agree with Darcy and Las Vegas...it DOES get cold there in the winter, and it's true--a dry cold feels colder than it actually is. And while it might not be as cold as the rest of the country, it is still cold out! (from a former californian shivering in her virginia office)...
I've been waiting for my elbow to heal so I can start snowboarding again and I know, just for spite, we'll start getting 50 degree days then. :(

Oh, and for all you wussies, 50 degrees is warm.
Currently in Florida!!!

75ºF Today

85º / 64º Friday 8)

81º / 67º Saturday 8)

82º / 66º Sunday 8)

Nuff said.

Nothin' wrong with a little bit of color to brighten up your day...and just to let you know...even growing up in the frozen tundras of Grosse Pte....I had the heat turned up to 70 in the house the second the parents left it..I used to get dressed on top of the heater vent in the family room and I whined way back when cause I was cold...so this is nothing new..just continual...

This was so FUNNY that I was rolling on the floor in hysterics. Well that is till the buttons popped off my coat and I had to grab a muffler to keep warm. LOL That is cold weather lingo isn't it? Oh and then my ear muffs fell off.

OK, I'm back.

Frozen nose hairs? Now that is a picture.

You guys are so entertaining. Seriously though, Darcy doesn't appear to have any body fat (padding) so she probably is very cold.

Thanks for the fun.
Thanks LV......xo
Last winter was cold. This winter it has not been below 60 turning the day.
It will get down to the 30's at night. But it's still much better than NY temps in the teens at night. I have gotten used to the weather here. It was 70 this morning and I was in a sweater. lol In NY I would have been in a t-shirt and shorts. Honestly, we didn't have to turn on the heat until February and have only used it a few nights.
last weekend i went to visit my friend in los angeles, and it was COLD! the week before it was 90 degrees there, so i packed bathing suits, shorts, and tank tops..... i was borrowing sweatshirts and jackets all weekend!
