|
make sure that
1: the video card is functioning properly. 2: the monitor and drivers are both installed right 3: there are no hardware conflicts this can all be checked by right clicking on "my computer" then properties, then hardware profiles. |
i cant my screen is black with that saying on it....mouse isnt showing at all..what video card..I dont have one I think... |
restart the computer, when the first screen pops up, hit f repeatedly and start it up in safe mode.
then you can check these things. |
Okay...cisco just had someone come and fix the problem..$150.00 later...I needed to press the f8 button one more time to get to where i needed to go...oh well...anyway, my screen resolution is still small...the guy said it cannot be any larger, however, it was before and i had no problem....i can barely read what i am typing right now...any way to make it bigger without me screwing it up again? |
Try going to
Start...Settings...Control Panel...Display...Appearance...Font Size |

Computer breakdowns are so frustrating. It sounds like you handled it better than I would have. |

I hate it when my desktop computer breaks down but with the kids sporting association that I belong to my darling husband thought he should get me a laptop so now when things go wrong I can still get online without having to use his computer
