Looking for another OES!
I am looking to adopt another OES. In September, 2005, I adopted Bentley, a 2 year old OES, from a no kill shelter in Indiana. Bentley is doing much better, and I would like to find him a buddy. Bentley is pretty active, so a younger one would be best. Male or female doesn't matter, although he seems to play more with the female dogs at the park. I live in Wisconsin, would be keeping the dog as an inside dog, and like the rest of you, love to spoil my dogs to death! I keep looking on petfinder, but would love to hear if anyone knows of any OES up for adoption. Thank you! Dawn |

I think i might be able to help you here Dawn, My wife & I live in the Minneapolis area and have sort of a predicament. We have a 7 month old OES ironically named "Bentley"  that we need to find a new home for. Our work schedules have changed for the worse lately and we just can't be home enough to give Bentley the love and attention he deserves. He has all his shots, and was neutered about a month ago. He is a very energetic and lovable little dude, and it pains me, and especially my wife that we have to part ways, but its for the best if he can find a loving home AND a playmate Let me know if you're at all interested, oh, and i'll try to post a picture tonight. |
there's only one listed here, but I know there's more, I was once looking for one in WI too, there are a couple in IL on this same page, I have talked with both of them in the past. Where in WI are you from? Maybe we could have a play date sometime  !!

thanks for the compliments! that was one of his finer moments when he didn't try to jump up and lick the camera.  he really is an awesome dog...gets along great with kids, and loves playing with other dogs. If anyone knows of another site that i could post him on it would be most appreciated. But I'm hoping someone on here is looking as i know he would go to an excellent home. |

| He's adorable! My Dad's last OES was named Bentley. He died about years ago and was such a good boy! This might be an alternative to a puppy for us as well. I've sent you an email too, grundy. |
