Bert Parks Would Be Singing....
Well here's the newspaper I spoke of when I made the front page. I found it hilarious that my photo was posted above the Headline as it appeared I was the "Chamber staffer" they were speaking of. The next photo shows the article that was printed about Miss Parfait. (She's quite the dish you know!) They ended up printing an entire page about this "character". Good looks (coughs) and brains like cotton candy. This is the character which allowed me to win the title of Worlds Funniest Magician in 1999. I think her beauty swayed the judges as you have to admit she would make anyone's heads turn.

Now I know all the ladies are jealous and the men are someday hoping to meet a good looking girl just like her. Hee Hee (Gotta stand in line Ed!) Miss Parfait famous quotes " It's not that my nose is too big..it's just my face is too small" "Don't hate me cause I'm beautiful". "I'm having troubles!" Darcy - Ironically my dentist made me the teeth and has my photo proudly displayed in his office as one of his patients. (had to have a mold done of my real teeth, sent to the lab, then they designed porceline teeth". One time he used a new product to adhere the "teeth" to my real ones and the fast acting product dried so fast they stuck!! Ohhh boy the look of horror on their faces!! Took 45 mins of prying and banging to get them off...all the while the tears are running down my face. Not that I was crying..(they thought I was) I was laughing so hard..thinking these "things" would be glued permantly on mine forever! Afterwards they made a bridge type thingie so they didn't need to be adhered. One of my other characters "Daisy", completed two children's tv show pilots in which I played a hillbilly who was 16!!! Ah gotta love what the makeup is able to hide! Daisy loves animals and children, and even has a pink lifesized sheepdog muppet as a pal! Who knows someday it may get picked up by the tv stations. The wonderful thing is I'm incognito...no one knows it's me. The "fellars" on that set were falling all over themselves to see who would gain Daisy's affections, gave me my own dressing room and filled jars of jelly beans for her. HA! (Marianne is jealous as she never gets that attention). Daisy, looks similar to Miss Parfait but wears a gingham red dress and has long Pipi Longstocking type blond hair. ...Anyhow now you know why I often joke my comedy carries over to my real life. PS Most people that I work with in my other jobs don't know I have this "other life", as they'd never take me seriously again. LOL! Miss Parfait |
