| I think there must be some worm going around in general as I've been receiving the same type of emails but I haven't received them through the OES List. |
| Neithr have I. It may just be a coincidence, but the viruses are all coming to the only computer and provider that receives the OES-L. None of my others have ever delivered even one in the past week. |
there was a mail from OES-L ADM the other day saying that their server was virus infected...to please delete messages....sorry I can`t remember the exact heading  ... I am just deleting all of then just in case for a few days. |
| I am not sure they were virus infected. My husband came home saying he had received a lot this last week too. In the paper they said there was a virus war going on between three different names embedded in the virus laden e-mails. The experts think that there's a virus "competition" going on and that most major lists are being attacked. Many big companies were hit hard last week.
Just do not ever click on an attachment from someone you don't know including anything from your provider. Three of the viruses were sent as though they came from my profider. In fact I am not openning any attachment that has not been virus scanned, including photos. Seems things can get infected during transfer from server to server. Wish the viruses would take a holiday! I am still receiving about one a day. |
