Please, people. EDUCATE yourselves. I can assure you that we here in the USA are fighting to help the Brits keep the right to dock, and we breeders here in the usa are in the process in the USA of Keeping tails OUT of our standards. Subject: Last appeal for support and important docking Brief for your MP Dear Mr R Owen We have been appealing to members to contact their MP's throughout January and according to "friendly" MP's they have been receiving far more letters / emails from ANTI docking constituents and that our efforts to defeat a ban will be in vain if the situation does not swiftly change. We have one last chance to flood them with the new "MP Docking Brief" which can be found at www.cdb.org/brief Please print this out and send it to your MP immediately. If you have continued to bombard your MP with letters & emails as we on the committee of the CDB have been doing, then thank you and please keep it up. If you have made little or no effort, then you will only have yourself to blame if we lose the vote in the House which is likely to be around the end of February 2006. No matter how hard the commmittee of the CDB works, MP's will only react to communications from their constituents. We have just a few precious weeks left to bombard MP's with the views of their constituents. PLEASE do not delay contacting your MP any longer and even if you have done previously, send them another communication to try and kick start a dialogue with him / her. Even if you have previous replies, please ask him / her now: Will he/she be voting for a total ban / working dogs only / or the status quo (if given all three options) Would you be able to look your dog in the eye if we lose this campaign now through lack of effort from members? Thank you.
