thank you for sharing your collection of newman photos. It looks like you gave him a wonderful life! |
Great tribute. Loved the photos. And yes, it was slow for us po folk with just dial-up. But that's why you go look at other stuff while it loading. |
What a wonderful page! You certainly have been able to express your love for Newman --and what he meant to you-- in a beautiful way.
Your graphic artwork will live on as silent testimony as well. Thanks for sharing it with us. |
that was really a great tribute, i seriously laughed out loud when i read the part about the puppy mischief, and that is the cutest "caught in the act" picture ever!
it looks like newman was a lucky dog, and you guys were very lucky owners. |
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Our hearts go out to you.
Your tribute page is beautiful. With deepest sympathy, Lori and Shaggy |
Thanks everyone for your kind words!
I guess I forgot to add that the destructiveness ended after a while and this little mischievious puppy turned out to be such a well-behaved dog. It was positive reinforcement all the way. We will be picking up our new puppy soon and I'm hoping he'll turn out to be a huge, sweet, gentle soul, just like Newman. |
Hi,
I loved looking at all the pics and it was obvious Newman was a much loved dog. I kinda always feel funny saying dog...as they are much more..like family members and almost human like. They keep us laughing, they love and are loved in return. Thanks for your kind words and thanks for sharing this wonderful tribute to Newman. |
Just had to stop by and visit with my favorite boy. You are a real hunk, Rosie and you would of had a great time together. |
We lost more than our best friend Sunday. Seeing your pictures helps us realize that we are not alone. We are devastated at this time, but hope to fill our house again as soon as we can get past our grieving. We feel perhaps that welcoming another Sheepie into our home may be the only way to get passed this difficult time. Our only concern is that if we get another Sheepdog it won't be as wonderfull as Happy. Seeing everyones messages as well as yours makes us realize there is hope. Thanks for allowing us to talk to you.

Today is/was the birthday of my first sheepie, it is no longer a dreaded day it is one of loving memories and love. We got a new sheepie boy about 2 weeks after we helped Dudley go to heaven. Our breeder said remember Oliver may be a sheepie but he is his own self, and we were filled with love as the grief left our heart. He left us at age 7 and we were devistated and grief stricken more then I could ever imagine. We are now sharing our life with Oreo he is the joy of our life we love him for who he is. There is nothing greater then the relationship of an OES. I could not wait for that connection when we got Oreo. The pain does go away and we have memories that we embrace now and remember the good times, we still have their paw prints on our hearts. Please accept my sincere sympathy as I know your pain and pray that as the grief passes your heart will be filled with those most loved memories. Peace |
I've just gone to Newman's webpage...and watched the video...and listened to "Here comes the sun". Now, I have tears in my eyes from the joy his life brought to you, and grief his loss has brought to you. In time...the joy will out weigh the grief...I promise. Been there, done that. Big ol' hugs to you! And congrats on the new marriage! Deborah (who was married in Key West in June of 2003). |
Dear Newman,
Tomorrow will be a year since you've been gone, and I want to let you know that we still miss you so much! |
