It is funny, Drake still can not figure out the rain. Yesterday we had a nice steady warm rain so I took Drake out to play in it. I stood under the carport and let Drake run out in the rain and everytime he took a few steps out he would first try to bite at the rain then bark then sheepie hope back to me then bark again at the rain. The rain then slowed and the drops were not as big so I took Drake out to play in the puddles. Drake would hop and splash in every puddle he could find. Finally he found it was great fun to run down the middle of a stream that goes down to a sewer then he would bark at the water draining down the manhole. He ran up and down the steam for a good 10 minutes but we had to finally stop because it started to thunder. It was so funny I could not stop laughing and my 20 year old daughter who was home from college thought I was a little nuts for playing out in the rain with Drake. I just told her you only live once and ya better enjoy it One more little sheepie antic of Drakes while I am at it. Drakes favorite place to sit is now on the kids. My younger kids will lay down next to Drake to play or pet Drake and when I walk up to them Drake will get up and sit on the kids heads. If he misses he will back up and try again. For some reason my kids think it is really funny to have their heads sat on I am not sure if I explained it well enough for you to picture but it is really funny |
hahahaha! at my work some of the dogs sit on their friends heads, so i can picture it with a kid instead.. too cute. i like that he backs up and tries again if he misses... what a character |
