I just gave Willoughby a stuffed sheepie toy. He recognized it as a sheepie. I removed the neck ornament( a stuffed fabric heart) but left the red ear bows. He ate one and threw it up in the night. Needless to say, I removed the other bow. He loves to lie down and suck on it or walk around with it in his mouth. We've decided that the stuffed sheepie is named Renfrew.  |
Merlin, the older of the two would very gently play with one toy like that, but now that we have Daphne she doesn't just "suck" she proceeds to rip all of it's insides out, we have many dead toys and their guts in our house a good part of the time, it's really quite sad. Our house is now where toys come to die  |
| I've come into the living room to find a scene like that. Dead stuffy body tossed to the side, stuffing Everywhere even with a little bit hanging out of the corner of the dog's mouth.
My only thought is, "Oh the humanity!" |

I can sooooo relate to that feeling! The average life expectancy of a stuffed animal at my house is 20 minutes. |
OMG...us too!  I call them "costumes" we had a bear...now it's a bear costume...we had a sheep...now it's a sheep costume...etc.
I just wish we could keep something "stuffed" to try on all the costumes we've collected! |
| I am so glad to see Morgan isn't the only one. Sometimes (I don't know if anyone else has this problem) Morgan will just bark at us. bark, bark, bark. If I say "Hey! go suck your bear!" she will go find the bear, jump on the couch and suck it. My mom was here and was like, what is that?? But she knows what I mean when I say go suck your bear and she does it. These dogs are too funny!!! |

When Daphne has been bad I will very sternly say, "get in your corner!" and off she goes to her corner in the kitchen. works quite well for both of us, She stays away from me, and since I'm mad I would rather not see her for a few minutes. We have a good system worked out  |
| Bunkie does the same. I love walking in the gargage door and seeing that it has snowed in the house. Every baby - destroyed. I bought her this cow the other day, when you squeezed it, it mooed loudly three times. ( I bought it to bug Paul while he was recovering from jetlag), she destroyed it and shook the sound machine across the room. |
