It figures, my snowblower is broken! Aside from that, I need some sympathy please. I've been working 10-12 hour days, 6-7 days a week since the first of the year and now that it's another month-end, the auditors STILL won't leave me alone to get anything accomplished. They've been here three (3) weeks and it's been I want to see these 312 vendor invoices please; why didn't that customer pay the invoice; why did you sign/date this December 31 document with 12/13/05; every single day. Oh, I know you've just refiled those 312 vendor invoices, but I need to see them all again. I had to drop out of obedience 'cause I just didn't have the time to work with Bentley and he's starting to be just a tad bit more obnoxious again, which I attribute to lack of exercise and attention. Kayli's feeling neglected too, I need some serious sleep and I can barely put together a coherent sentence any more. Okay, I'm done with my rant, thank you for listening, LOL. |

Sorry Jil, You have my sympathy....not that it helps any |
Jill that sounds like what my husband has been going through for the last month. They finally left. LOL There is an end to it, there is a light at the end of the tunnel!
Just look forward to that deep sigh of relief when it's over. As to the snow, doesn't that just figure!!! I've been wishing for snow all winter, there is NONE out there after all this rain, and yet later today and tonight we're supposed to get 15-25 cm of snow! Just when I had planned on finally taking my new van for a drive, to visit a friend about an hour and a half away |
Rant away as we're here for you! I had noticed your absence and wondered how things were going for you. Wish I could help but as Darcy said we're here to lend a sympathetic ear.
Sending hugs your way Marianne and the boys |
Keep on ranting! If you want, we can start calling the sleepy guy again, just let us know when he's there. At least that will give you some distraction.
This will end, you even know when, April 16th, right? |
Bring Bentley over to kill some energy for awhile. If you have to work, I'll take him tomorrow afternoon or another evening and give you a break. Besides look at it this way: snow is good for us because we can go back to the dog park. I hope we get 5 inches! |
LOL, Stacey, you mean they actually LEAVE? I though that was an urban legend!!!
Mandy, you are quite the twisted woman I and shall remember this! Luckily for me, this is our year-end audit and since the reports were due on the 31st and the January month-end is due on Friday, I should be better off this weekend. Oh wait, my former boss who opened an art gallery has finally set up a meeting with his CPA so I'll have to crash & burn on his books. I've only been asking for this since MAY. Don't get me started on this guy, he's a total flake, but one of the nicest guys so you just have to laugh at him. Thanks everyone for the support! I got home at 3:00, ate a Big Mac & fell asleep on the couch, waking up to find three iQube balls on me. How cute is that! Jill - I will take you up on your offer! I brought home stuff to work on tomorrow, but I'd get a lot more done in a few hours at the office and at least that would get me to shower and dress. I'll PM you for details. It's still raining over here, but weather.com's radar looks like 5" to me. You're totally right about the dog park! Ha, sleepy guy has been out sick most of the week, I think he was avoiding his staff meeting presentation. I'll let you guys know when he's back!! |
You have my deepest sympathy just for having to work with accounting and finance, not to mention long hours and weeks on end!!!!! The paperwork alone would drive me off the deep end!!!! I say take yourseof shopping and buy a NEW PAIR OF SHOES OR A NEW PURSE YOU DESERVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
I didn't sign on yesterday, so just saw this today. You know how I feel, friend!
Chris |
I hope things slow down for you! Can you send some of that snow down here??? |
