Puppy Bowl II is Sunday

There are some people who have no interest in football and no idea who is playing in Sunday's Super Bowl. For us, the Animal Planet is televising the second annual Puppy Bowl on Sunday. It is hysterical. I watched it last year for a couple of hours. There is a big play area set up to look like a football field. There's a bunch of puppies on it and the camera just films away. So cute! And when a puppy makes a mess, a "foul" is called. And kittens are doing a half-time show. It's must-see tv.

I saw it last year too....cute !!! and definately better than football!
I've got to tape that. I'm going to my Dads to watch the game. Naw Im really going to watch the US commerical.
Watching paint dry is better than watching football.

Even though the Super Bowl is going to be played about 3/4 mile from where I'm sitting right now, I could care less. It's so crazy though because there are so many people here. As I walk around campus everyone is talking about celebrity sightings-- just today I talked to different people that saw Ashlee Simpson, Paris Hilton, David Spade and Jessica Alba. Ashlee was at the Detroit Institute of Arts but everyone else was seen in Birmingham, a more upscale suburb. It's very weird. It's kind of like living in Hollywood for a week-- except colder.
I think that's so funny that so many celebrities show up at things like this. I understand the men who love football (not to be sexist or anything!) or even a celebrity who is married/dating a guy who loves football, but I just can't imagine Ashlee Simpson or Paris Hilton watching the game...especially with the 2 teams involved this year (sorry fans)...
Both of those to whatever they are annoy the H&$( out of me. Paris, what do you do???? What have you done to be famous? (beside the tape boys?)
LOL Sounds cute... Animal Planet has a nasty habit of having totally different programming in Canada than it does in the states
I hate that!!!!!
I love college football! And I will cheer for the guys who later go into the pros. All in all though, pro football just isn't that exciting to me.

I love the puppy bowl too. It makes me wish I could have more pups.
Hi,

I haven't seen the puppy bowl, nor heard about it until now..sounds adorable and I hope to catch it. Thanks for the info.

Here's 2 clips from the Puppy Bowl and one from the half-time entertainment. The poodle is mental!
That poodle is crazy!!!
The poodle IS crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What kind of dog was the poodle playing with, a curly coated retreiver??? Way cute film!!!
Wow... energy!

I love the instant-replay with super slo-mo on the gang tackle in the second video.

The Poodle avoided the first tackler, but then was grabbed from behind. Classic.

Thanks for sharing!
I definitely prefer Puppy Bowl over Super Bowl. The players are WAY cuter!! :D
I saw it last year. It is really cute (there was the Jack Russell Terrier named Bandit that I was really obsessed with) and everything but after the first 30 minutes of watching it I got kind of bored. I hope they bring more elements into this year's puppy bowl to spice it up a bit.
