Yuki THINKS she is the boss. She is ALWAYS herding our poor cat. Blocking her into corners or nipping at her neck. Has never hurt her or even cause a reaction from the cat, but you can tell it annoys the crap out of the cat. Sometimes we feel sorry for our cat, but at night ...they sleep together *cuddled up to a point you can barely see my cat* ...so I guess she's a forgiving cat. We've come to the conclusion that the cat loves to play with yuki, but doesn't like it to go as far as yuki sometimes takes it. The cat will spend the day running across each room to get yuki to play. |
My two lick Church all the time, but not Winston, he doesn't put up with it. LOL |
Ben cleans anyone or anything that he can (well, except the hubby, he knows his boundries with him). Cats, Dogs, Children, ME!! Silly pup! |
Daisy LOVES kitties and does a pretty good job of herding them and loves to clean them. Mork (3 yr old cat) usually allows this and like you said will even instigate it at times. When he's had enough he'll run away to his "bed" and once I saw him swat at Daisy to make her back away. |
Maggie always tries to lick my cat Miles. She is very friendly about it but Miles gets annoyed pretty quickly. I think it is cute and have been trying to take a picture. . . |
We have the inverse problem - one of our cats tries to groom Baxter, our 100pound sheepie. Rigel, Baxter's cat, is determined to keep Baxter's ears clean. Fortunately Baxter either enjoys the attention or tolerates it.
