Update on Rags
I don't know if she wasn't eating because her matts would pull causing pain. Anyhow she's gained a few pounds and filling out quite nicely. Her spine had been sticking out quite a bit after I shaved her. It is almost barely noticable after 4 days of eating a hearty meal. She is a happy morning dog....we are NOT morning people. 
When she decides she's ready for us to wake up she jumps on the bed. Comes towards us, with her dead down towards her feet and pushes against us like a bulldozer. As soon as one of us moves she attacks us with kisses  How could you not wake up with smiles with a wake up call like that?
Peanut is not very fond of her No surprise there since he hates everyone. Peanut had jumped up on top of a small table and was trying to get food off of Hayley's highchair. Pepsi walked over and Peanut snapped at him....right near Hayley. Rags came running over and quickly removed Peanut from his perch. She is very protective of Hayley and won't let any of the dogs growl near her.
Ryan walked Rags around the yard holding her collar for over an hour the other day. She did not complain and try to pull away. She actually seemed to be enjoying it 
She is NOT a counter surfer, but of course Pepsi still is. So I still have to watch what I leave there. She is also a clean drinker. She presses her nose against the side of the bowl and gently laps up the water. Of course she still gets wet beard and is very happy to rub her face all over you. Rags is just an amazing dog! We are so happy to have her. I also think she's happy to be here |

| Gosh what a wonderful thing to read. She was definately made for your family, could not get any better then that. Sounds like a built in Nanny for Hayley too, rags has very strong maternal instincts by the sounds of it. Looking forward very much to more piccys of her soon.

What a great story!  Rags is now Hayley's protector - yay!! Had to chuckle at how she wakes you up in the morning, too. She's already training you well!!

Wow. It looks like they all had a fun time together.Yeah, It's amazing what Prednisone can do. He was in the process of trying to nip at Rags. I was surprise too. Harley has been off the Prednisone since Friday. This morning he was whining.  I guess it's wearing off. |
