| When our sheepie would bite we would let out a little 'yelp'. It would startle her and although it took some time she came to understand biting doesn't have to be part of playing. Good luck. |

Puppies will nip, and as mum2sasha said, a yelp or loud ow! will let the pup know it's not acceptable. Also, ignore the pup for a bit if play gets too rough. Lots of praise when he plays gentle. A puppy is abig commitment, andyou do need to make raising your pup a priority, they need lots of time and love  |
