A Magically Appearing Dog!
Gus (my 7 month old OES) just had a TPO surgery last week for hip dysplasia. We Have 3 other dogs, so we took baby gates and blocked off the living room as "Gus's Space" for a couple of weeks.. Well, Precious (my 10 year old Toy poodle) CANNOT stand that he is in the room where her couch is, AND SHE CAN'T GET TO IT! So she would wait until none of us were looking at her and she would slip into the room and jump on the couch to take her morning/afternoon nap... We COULD NOT figure out how she was doing it! Seriously, I was sitting on the floor petting Gus, my oldest bro was sitting on the couch watching a movie and my dad was on the computer.. I look up and see Precious outside the gate.. I look down to pet Gus, I look up ..  THERE SHE IS LAYING ON THE COUCH!!!! The whole entire room is blocked off with baby gates and furniture to keep them out and she continues to mysteriously get in! I still cannot figure it out!!  |

| Years ago I had a Toy Poodle, Scooter, that was quite the magician that he got the nickname of The Gray Houdini. He would get out of his crate with chains wrapped around it.
My current Toy Poodle Peanut has never been anything like Scooter. But yesterday I was leaving for a class and swore I let all the dogs in. As I was pulling out of the driveway I look over into my neighbors yard and there is Peanut walking on his lawn back toward my house. When he was younger he used to get into the playpen with my son Ryan. He is a very good climber and has no problems getting up and over gates. |
