I have a dog named Merlin. He is not the dog on my Avatar...that is Avalon. Merlin has eye patches...if you look at my pics (click the camera at the bottom of my message) you will see some Merlin pics. We got the name because my kids are very much into the King Arthur legends. I think that is because we named our eldest daughter...Morgan. At the time I had no idea who Morgan le Fay was!  |

| Hey that's funny that you mentioned the movie as that's probably where I first heard the name and it stuck in my head many years ago.
Beau's mom was right, I'm also a magician and do stage shows and hoped one day to have an OES perform with me and wanted a "magicial name". The breeder chose my boy for me and mentioned she had temporarily given him the name Cartman after the Southpark character and truthfully that name suits him far more than Merlin. It's nice to meet "Merlin" and welcome to the forum. I've also met a few Panda's and Blue the name of my other two furballs. Marianne |
