Any suggestions? Do those dog boots work, or should we clip the fur on his feet/legs really short? I had to give him a "foot bath" in the bath tub when he came in this morning, and I can't do THAT all spring! |

I have used the boots on our 3 off and on for years. They are much better than muddy feet. |
I was advised by the breeder that Sammy came from that if he got muddy feet to sprinkle potato flour on them, this apparently dries them out real quick and you just brush it all off. I haven't tried it myself yet though |
Potato flour is fabulous, absorbs quickly and brushes the mud and wetness out of the feet, can't live without it!!
Boots are wonderful too, just get him use to them, they are funny when they first have them on, watching them get use to them they are hilarious seeing them walk in them for the first time. |
I've never heard of the potato flour trick! I love this place! I'm always learning something new!! |
Can you use the flower from a purple potato?

You are so silly, Ron. I've never heard about the potato flour either. Would it also work on getting dog poop out of their fur? Annie has managed to step in a few poop piles within the last few weeks. ICK! |
