Dog Houses
Max is alone for about 7 hours a day, and I leave him outsite in my huge back yard (I live in Sc so the weather is nice year round) for the day. Any suggestions on getting him used to the dog house? |

| Do you fit in it?....I ask this because I believe if he can smell "you" in it he will get use to it....try going in it for a while...or at lease put your hand in it....then leave something of your own... like an old sweatshirt,pants...anything that smells like you, and leave some of his favorite toys in it and a treat....if you see him in or around it congrat him....slowly he will get to know it as part of his territory. |
| Me again....new idea,
try putting his doggie house inside your screen patio first..then after he is used to it .... move it out...but alway put something he is familiar with inside it. |
