| Nobody is allowed to even SAY Bloody mary in my house!!! I think I wach too many horror movies. My house is littered with "good luck charms" I even have my little Buddah by the front door to rub his tummy for luck before I leave the house.LOL. One of the newest I have heard is when walking with a friend to never let anything pass between you. Like never walk on the opposite sides of a pole/bikerack ect....because then the friendship will break up. |
I could say I'm not superstitious, but I have a REAL 4 leaf clover in a zip lock baggie on my fridge that my son gave me, and I always say *touch wood* So I guess I am a bit.  |
| "Touch wood" doesn't make you superstitious, it makes you a Druid, reformed of course. Especially if you say knock on wood and then knock on anything that's close.
I still go for the breaking a mirror is 7 years bad luck thing. |
My hubby broke the mirror in my compact in NJ.  His bad luck not mine. He broke it.
If I spill salt I will throw some over my shoulder. I have actually flown twice on Friday the 13th...so I am not very superstitious, but I am slightly. |

Friday the 13th was yesterday for me, been there done that, no bad luck just a normal day. Superstitions, well I did have a 2 black cats, I have walked under ladders, I have broken a mirror and I am still here Ha Ha Ha.  |
Friday the 13th's are lucky days in our house. I met my future husband on it, several of our aniversaries are on that date and we "aquired" both of our fur kids on those dates  |
| I am not, but my Mom is/was very superstitious. When I finally became 16, I wasn't allowed to drive on Friday, the 13th. For that matter, I wasn't allowed to drive whenever she said Mercury was in retrograde as it caused more accidents. I could go on and on, about the strange habits of my Mom.
I just believe that life is going to throw you a curve when you least expect it, it could be Friday the 13th, Tuesday the 8th, or the 12th of Never.  |

| I'm not really superstitious. I was born on Friday the 13th, lol It's always been a lucky day for me for some reason.
Now yesterday, we were having terrible luck with glass! We're remodeling our bathroom, and we changed the mirrors. The mirror we took off the wall broke. Hubby was carrying it, and just barely tapped it against something and it shattered. Then, after a trip to Lowe's, we come back and a windowpane was broken! We just installed it about a month ago too. Grrr. It's been REALLY windy here, and we had some bad storms last night, so I'm thinking either the wind blew something into it or the wind got really bad last night and we just didn't catch it until later. I kinda miss renting where I could just call a landlord about things like this - lol It gets expensive...especially since it's a big window! |
