it was a bit overwhelming, there were 57 dogs there and about 5 employees. besides cleaning up the occasional marking war (about 5 dogs will pee on the same thing) my job is to literally play with dogs all day... my favorites so far are norman the smallest little boxer puppy who plays with all the huge dogs and gunner whos a yellow lab puppy who has the biggest head and paws ive ever seen and thats not even the best part. once im more aquainted with the job im able to bring walter with me. no more sad eyes when i leave for work and i dont have to feel bad when im too tired after a long day to play with him. instead ill get paid to play with my dog and at the end of the day hell be so tired that hopefully well be able to exhaust our ritual end of the day game.. (i sit on the couch and he brings me all of his toys and every one of my shoes until i play with him) im just a little worried that walter will get banned from yet another place haha |

sounds like a great job! Have fun! |
Wow sounds like a wonderful job, tiring but rewarding.
Ironically I returned a short time ago from the dog park where we all we discussing puppy daycares and how much dogs love them! I'm crossing my fingers that you'll be able to bring Walter and he's on his best behavior. Good Luck at your new job! |
its so great to see so many dogs having fun playing all day instead of being home alone while their owners work. it can be pricey but if youre able to afford it it's definitely worth it. its so cute to watch each dog prance in and greet their friends (although there are a few who are too shy to play, and rest in a separate room with the other dogs with less energy). its also great for the owners who have to work all day, instead of coming home to a hyper dog, most of the dogs are struggling to keep their eyes open by the end of the day.
i cant wait to bring walter and watch him hop with the other pups! |
